BRIDGE BARON V allows you to play rubber or duplicate bridge against the computer or your friends. After every hand, the score for that hand is displayed, together with a running total for all the hands played in the session. The score is either rubber or duplicate, depending on the setting of the Baron Mode option in the Options menu.
There are six commands available from BRIDGE BARON V:
Play a New Deal
Select this command to play a hand. A dialog box lets you specify how the cards are dealt. You can specify a deal number from 1 to 2147483647, select User Deal to deal your own cards, or select Library Deal to retrieve a deal that was saved to disk.
Review This Deal
This command shows you the bids and plays from the last deal played. All four hands are shown, together with the cards that were played. To see the auction, click once in the center table. To quit the review screen, click anywhere else in the window.
Display Score
This command shows you the current rubber bridge or duplicate score, depending on the setting of the Baron Mode option. Click anywhere in the window to quit the score screen.
Set Scores to Zero
This command resets the rubber or duplicate running scores to zero.
Replay This Deal
This command lets you replay the deal that was just played. If you like, you can rotate the hands before the bidding starts, so that you are playing one of the other hands.
Save in Personal Play Library
Select this command to save a deal to disk. You can give the deal a title and type in your own commentary. For details see help topic "Personal Play Library".
